Bridgette is an empathetic and skilled early career psychologist with experience in the delicate realms of child and adolescent psychology, cancer care, and grief and loss. Bridgette has a strong interest in working across the lifespan ranging from adults to children and families. With a compassionate approach, Bridgette utilises a range of evidence-based therapies and interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions.

Bridgette also has a strong interest in psychological assessment. She has experience conducting a range of assessments including cognitive, functional, learning and memory. Bridgette also has experience assessing children and adults for Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

In her work with children and adolescents, Bridgette creates a supportive environment to address the unique challenges they face, fostering emotional resilience and healthy coping mechanisms.

How to Refer

Whether you are a GP, specialist, or self-referring, our process is simple and supportive

Initial Contact

Send us an email. Our admin team will gather basic information and discuss your needs.

Information Gathering

We request relevant background information, including any previous assessments and the reason for referral.

Booking & Confirmation

We will contact you to schedule an initial appointment and send a confirmation email with session details.

Claiming the Medicare Rebate

If you wish to claim the Medicare rebate for psychology services, you will need to be referred by your GP with a current Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP). Please speak with your GP prior to your first appointment to obtain this referral.

Fees & Services

Individual therapy sessions are provided via self-referral or from professionals supporting you, including your General Practitioner (GP).

Individual Psychological Therapy Sessions

Current rate

$220/ 50-minute session

Longer, initial sessions may be charged at a higher rate.

After the Medicare rebate of $145.25, your out-of-pocket gap payment would be $74.75 per session.

Note: The Australian Psychological Society (APS) 2024–2025 Recommended Schedule of Fees are set at $311 for a standard 46–60 minute consultation. Psychologists are able to vary this fee at their discretion.

Medicare Rebates

Bridgette is a registered Medicare Provider. You may be able to claim a Medicare rebate of $145.25 per session for clinical psychology services, leaving a gap payment out of pocket after Medicare benefit. Session fee is to be provided in full by the client at the time of appointment, for which a Medicare benefit can subsequently be claimed (in most cases immediately following the appointment).

To be eligible for a Medicare rebate, a referral must be received directly from your treating doctor (GP, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist) with a current Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) prior to your first appointment. Your MHTP will require review typically after the 6th session. Individuals may access Medicare rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year (1 January to 31 December) under their MHTP.

Other Funding Options

Other funding options may be relevant to your situation, such as Private Health or NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme; if self-managed). You may also be able to access sessions via your workplace Employee Assistance program — contact your HR consultant or Manager to discuss.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or postpone, please provide at least 48 hours notice, otherwise a cancellation fee may apply. For less than 48 hours notice, 50% of the consultation fee will apply; for less than 24 hours notice the full consultation fee may be charged. Medicare rebates can only be provided for sessions that are attended.

Psychological Assessments & Reports

Bridgette also offers comprehensive psychological assessments. Contact Bridgette to obtain a quote based on reason for referral and purpose of assessment/report. Costs depend on assessment hours, type of psychometric testing, number of individuals to be interviewed, terms of reference, amount of information to be reviewed, general case complexity, report writing time, and any subsequent consultation/collaboration required.
